This proposal story was sent to me by a friend (thanks Chelsea)! I love proposal stories and seeing how creative and personal the proposal unfolds. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did:
For 28 year-old Cody Sadler, his connections at the Triple Door offered him a unique opportunity to propose to his girlfriend of more than four years, Kendall Longacre. With permission from the Triple Door General Manager Jason Lock and the willingness of several valets, Cody went forward with his crafty plan.
The couple had arranged to attend a Matt Wertz concert that evening at 7pm. Upon their arrival, Cody was able to sneak himself and Kendall in a back way inside the parking garage to avoid the front of the theatre. Moments before the show the couple stood beneath the sign and asked a valet worker, who conveniently was standing outside, to snap a photo. Jason was nearby filming the entire thing.
It wasn’t until Cody handed the camera to his girlfriend and she looked at the photo that she noticed the words in the marquee above them, reading: Kendall, will you marry me?
Just found this on my friend’s Pinterest. I LOVE IT!!

I came across this Bellingham couple’s proposal. Tyler lives next door to my aunt and I have known about him for a while but have never actually met him. He proposed to her at Boulevard Park / Woods Coffee, a popular getaway for students.

I remember watching this game with my parents. My mum and I were in the kitchen and my dad was in the living room. We all ran and met in the hallway excited for different reasons. My dad was freaking out about the play and my mother and I about the proposal. Take a look for yourself:
I recently found a new hobby, Geocaching. If you haven’t heard of it and love treasure hunting and exploring the outdoors you should check out their website. Basically, it’s a GPS world-wide treasure hunt; 5 million people globally participate to find over 1.5 caches. It’s addicting and so much fun. So far I’ve found 10 caches.
On a wedding related note, on the Geocache blog I found a video of Geocache proposals and weddings.
Hope you enjoy it!
The waiter brought us one dessert menu and handed it to him. He then highly recommended that we try the special dessert of the night – the carrot cake. Blake took a look at the menu, and said that that sounded good to him. I immediately asked what else they had (having never been a big fan of carrot cake). Blake again looked at the menu and said it looked really good to him, like his Mom’s recipe, and that we should try it. He then handed me the menu and scooted off his seat. This is what the menu said: “Karat” cake: This isn’t your typical carrot cake, but more of a birthday request of Blake’s. To end this day in a special way, will you please answer “yes” on his birthday?
